Today we:
1. Asked why the days will soon be growing longer (rather than shorter, as they have been since school started)!
2. Explored adding "ed" to verbs to make them past tense.
3. Relearned that an equation is a number sentence that uses an equals sign (=) to show that related numbers have equal value. Example: 94 + 70 + ? = 203
4. Practiced writing introductory paragraphs and revising and editing good-sized pieces of writing.
5. Shared our reactions to the last few chapters of our literature books.
6. Reviewed the power of encouraging words in all of our relationships.
7. Learned from literature that eye contact is more than what helps communication and learning in class, but helps people in every day life situations.
8. Shared clear and specific compliments with each other about things we see or hear others doing that move themselves, or others, forward in a positive way.
