Science: Careful Observation

Science depends on reliable observation. One reason why science took a long time to develop as a human endeavor, was because our senses are so easily tricked while observing. What do you see while observing the blue lines below?




Without reliable observations, many scientific laws were difficult to discover. Good science requires careful observation. A big part of our science discoveries, this year, will come from careful observations and from following reliable procedures.
