Art: Elements of Design
Richard Vanderway visited our class today. He is from the Whatcom Art Museum. He taught the first of three lessons exploring the elements of design: line, shape, texture, and color.
We just happen to be working on some visual aids to support our writing, so Richard's timing was perfect, allowing the students to apply what we learned. We'll also apply our learning during a visit to the Art Museum in a couple of weeks.
